Dr. Heiss was born in Oneill, NE but was raised on a farm in Page, NE. He was fortunate to find out what Chiropractic can do after a motor vehicle accident in his 20’s left him suffering with severe vertigo and neck pain.
He attended the Midland Lutheran College, receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree. During his time there he was a member of the Men’s Football Team. He furthered his education as a X-ray technologist and then later attended Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX where he earned his Doctorate in Chiropractic degree in 2009. Since then, he has been serving patients in the Lincoln area.
Dr. Heiss has extensive training in modern acupuncture and many chiropractic and physiotherapy techniques. He specializes in the “specific prone” technique. He also uses his foundational training in Diversified, Extremities, Sports Medicine & Zone Technique.
Dr. Heiss is a recurrent speaker at local and national chiropractic conferences. He is a member of the Nebraska Chiropractic Association, the Acupuncture Society of America and the Zone School of Healing.
He and his wife live in Lincoln with their 3 girls, Isabel, Iyla and Sylar. In their free time they enjoy being outdoors, either on the golf course or at the lake, and spending time together as a family.
